Make Fumo Walk the Plank
12.12.07

ahoy.gifThis week, we ran the last of our three full-page ads aimed at educating voters about the particular charges in the federal indictment of State Senator Vince Fumo.

Since there won't be a trial verdict before voters go to the polls in April, we thought it was important to encourage people to read the indictment and to see the volume and quality of the evidence against the Senator.

This latest ad targets the Senator's alleged misuse of the historic yachts of Philadelphia's struggling Independence Seaport Museum. According to federal authorities, Fumo used these ships for his own personal pleasure cruises, had the museum subsidize vacations for his cronies, and even stole expensive ship models that he used as decorations for his offices.

Although the nature of the charges are serious, we've tried to keep these ads light and humorous. We've gotten incredible feed back and hope to do another series in the coming months. Below you can download and view pdf files of all the ads.
